1. How to report
Send a report through our contact form with the subject line "Abuse report." Include:
- The URL, sender email, or domain in question.
- A copy of the message (with full headers if possible) or a screenshot of the content.
- Which category below applies, in your view.
- Your contact information so we can follow up if needed (we keep this confidential).
We confirm receipt of every report within 2 business days and aim to investigate within 7 business days.
2. Categories of abuse we act on
Spam, phishing, and unsolicited bulk email
Sending unsolicited bulk email, fraudulent "phishing" messages, or chain mail through any Xarify-built system is prohibited. See our full Anti-Spam Policy for what counts as permission and what does not.
Impersonation and fraud
Pretending to be Xarify, claiming to be a Xarify partner without authorization, or using the Xarify name or logo to mislead third parties (see our Trademark Policy) is treated as a serious violation and may be referred to law enforcement.
Content that promotes hatred, violence, or illegal activity
Xarify-built sites must not host content that is unlawful, that defames, harasses, or threatens individuals or groups, or that promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
Sexually explicit material
Adult or sexually explicit material is not permitted on Xarify-built proposal sites or capture engines.
Child safety
We have a zero-tolerance policy for content that exploits or endangers children. We will terminate the account, remove the content immediately, and report the content and the account holder to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
Personal and confidential information
Publishing or transmitting another person's private information without their consent — full name, home address, phone number, government ID, financial account details — is prohibited.
Copyright infringement
If you believe content on a Xarify-built site infringes your copyright, send a notice to our contact form with the subject line "DMCA notice." Include: (a) your contact information, (b) identification of the copyrighted work, (c) the URL of the infringing material, (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized, (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf, and (f) your physical or electronic signature. We respond to valid DMCA notices in line with 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Other
If a violation doesn't fit a category above, describe it in your report and we will evaluate it on the merits.
3. What happens after a report
- Receipt. We confirm we received the report.
- Investigation. We review the content, the account, and any prior history.
- Action. Depending on severity: a warning, content removal, suspension of the affected system, or termination of the engagement under Section 12 of our Terms of Service.
- Notification. We may close a report without further response if we conclude no violation occurred. We follow up only when we need more information from you.
4. Bad-faith reports
Submitting reports you know to be false in order to suppress legitimate criticism, competitor commentary, or lawful content is itself a misuse of this process and may be referred to law enforcement under applicable false-statement laws.
5. Law enforcement requests
Law enforcement agencies with valid legal process should send requests through our contact form with the subject line "Law enforcement request." We respond consistent with applicable U.S. law.
6. Changes
We may update this Abuse Policy as the business grows or as new categories of harm emerge. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent version.
